The Transylvanian Society of Dracula - Canadian Chapter
Membership in the Canadian Chapter is open to residents of Canada and the U.S., as well as those in other countries that have no active chapter. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Note: The TSD does not direct its programs at practicing vampires or aspiring vampires.
The Society was founded in October 1973 by actors Bernard Davies
and Bruce Wightman, catering to lovers of "the vampire and his kind" – werewolves, reanimated mummies, mad scientists and their creations, and all the other monsters spawned by the Gothic genre.
First conceived of by Robert R. McCammon in 1984, and best
known for its Bram Stoker Awards, the Horror Writers Association
is taken seriously by both publishers and the public alike.
