Credits and acknowledgements

The Estate thanks the family members, librarians, archivists, researchers, photographers and event organisers whose work helps readers discover Bram. Source attribution identifies where material came from; it does not itself establish permission to reproduce it.

Research and discoveries

We acknowledge Brian Cleary’s discovery of Gibbet Hill in the National Library of Ireland, and the work of Dacre Stoker and Elizabeth Miller in bringing The Lost Journal to readers. Institutional collections, including the University of Leeds and the Rosenbach, preserve material essential to Bram Stoker research. See Archives for collection links.

Estate archives

Family-supplied documents and photographs are identified as “Source: Estate archives.” Specific sources, dates and references appear with each item where known. Independently held material retains its own institutional or publication attribution.

Each image carries its source beside it. Event images are supplied or collected from organiser material and retain their separate credits. A credit marked “under review” or “to confirm” is unresolved and does not grant permission for reuse. Please contact the Estate about missing attribution or a correction.

Research contributions

The Estate gratefully acknowledges research assistance and contributions from Paul Murray, Dr Elizabeth Miller, Douglas Appleyard, John Moore and Brian J. Showers. Their work helped assemble genealogical and historical information about Bram and the Stoker family.
